• Greetings Venetia Vikings,

I would like to introduce myself as the new assistant principal of Venetia Elementary. It is my honor to be working with an amazing faculty and staff. I am looking forward to supporting our Navy families as they serve our country and community. The 2020-2021 school year is going to be filled with many exciting adventures.

My administrative career began with receiving a Master’s in Education Leadership from the University of West Florida. Along with that, I have a Bachelor’s in History from Valdosta State University.

My certifications include: Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (5-9), Elementary (K-6), ESE (K-12), Social Science (6-12) and Education Leadership (All Levels).

My career began as an ESE teacher and athletics coach. I’ve been in the education field for over 15 years supporting ESE students in Northeast Florida, including seven years as an ESE Lead Teacher leading numerous projects involving multidisciplinary response teams, multi-tiered system of support data collection, best practices for inclusion education, school improvement plans, and state testing.

As your assistant principal, I will be working with the Title One program in the parent and family engagement area making sure our parents are being kept informed of school activities. I will also be the testing coordinator ensuring students have the tools needed to succeed as they prepare for the middle school level.

In my spare time, I enjoy powerlifting, cycling, and taking my family on cruises.

Learning Can Take You Anywhere! An Adventure Awaits…
