Community Education offers after school activities for K-5th grade students and adults. We have a variety of classes, including tutoring, music, art, cooking, sewing, karate, guitar and piano.

Mandarin Oaks Community Education program is self supporting. Fees generated from classes are used to cover the costs of Community Education staff, instructors, and supplies.

Enrollment: Classes have limited space available on a first come first serve basis. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., please respect our rules for student safety. Visitors registering for classes are not allowed to enter the building until 3:30 p.m. using the back hallway doors. Registration is held in the hallway atrium across from the cafeteria.

Payment: All classes must be paid in full at time of registration. We accept cash or checks**. If paying cash, please have the exact amount.

**No checks over $250.00.

Piano lessons are once per week and begin the 2^nd week of school for new students. Once you have a spot, it is yours to keep until you decide to stop them. Beginning this school year, lessons will run throughout the school year with the exception of Thanksgiving week. If there is school on your day, you will have a lesson. Price is $150.00 per quarter.

*WEDNESDAY CLASSES - On Early Dismissal days, students not enrolled in the Early Dismissal class or Extended Day will need to leave school and return no earlier than 15 minutes before class.

Registration will continue until all classes are full or cancelled due to insufficient registration. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Fees are due at the time of registration. You must sign up in person, phone registrations are not permitted. We accept cash, checks, or money orders. Cash must be exact amount as we may not have change. Please make checks payable to Mandarin Oaks Elementary.

All students that are not enrolled in Extended Day MUST be signed out at the desk on the Community Ed sign out sheet every time they are picked up!

Supplies are included for all classes unless otherwise noted.

REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds must be made to the Community School within three (3) business days of the first class. No refund requests will be accepted or honored after that time. There are no partial refunds of Community Education classes.
