    Wednesday, May 18th… Weare matching outfits with 1 or 2 friends; 4th Grade Play Day; Early Dismissal begins @ 1:35

    Thursday, May 19th… Dress like a mad scientist; 3rd Grade Play Day; Qtr. 4 Schoolwide Science Inquiry- Cereal Box Challenge; VPK 22/23 Orientation @ 6:00

    Friday, May 20th… Wear your craziest beach hair/hat; 2nd Grade Play Day; 5th Grade Field Trip; 25th Anniversary Celebration @ 6:00-8:00

    Save the Date… Last Day of School May 27th, dismissal begins at 12:20; be sure to return your last day of school dismissal plan

    Important Information… Abess Park Elementary has been chosen by our local Winn-Dixie at 12777 ATLANTIC BLVD., JACKSONVILLE, FL 32225 to be a part of the School Donation Program in August.  Starting Wednesday, August 10 - Tuesday, August 30, customers will be invited to donate in two ways! At checkout, customers can round up their purchase to donate toward your school. The second way is by purchasing a community bag. Each reusable bag comes with a $1 community giving tag. Your school will be the designated recipient of the community bag donation for that location during this time as well; See website/attached for laptop and hotspot support

    Abess Park families, through our partnership with Hazel Health, Abess Park students have access to on-demand doctor visits at school. These services are available to your child at no cost to your family. 

    Through on-demand virtual doctor visits from school, Hazel Health doctors evaluate your child’s symptoms and provide appropriate treatment. Watch this 1 minute video to learn more about how Hazel works.
