• The Duval County Magnet Programs is one of the nation’s most successful magnet programs, according to the U.S. Department of Education. A wide range of specialized educational programs are available throughout elementary, middle, and high schools.

While receiving instruction in traditional subject areas, magnet students have an opportunity to explore and develop their unique interests and talents in such areas as math, science, the arts, language immersion, culinary arts, aviation, law/legal professions, technology, and public service.

Duval County’s magnet programs are steadily improving to meet the needs of all students. Approximately 20,000 students participate in 30 different program areas offered in 71 schools.
