Buying a brick helps with our campus beautification efforts, providing funding for new plants and landscaping supplies. All bricks will be placed in the courtyard and near the cafeteria. Make your family a permanent part of JWJ!
All JWJ volunteers must fill out a copy of this form and submit it to the front office before they will be allowed to volunteer in the school or as a chaperone at school events and field trips. This is different than the background check and the general DCPS volunteer form, which are also required. This form is known as the blue form and all copies are kept in a master file in the main office for quick reference.
All volunteers should use this form to log their hours in service to JWJ. Normally, these forms are kept in the volunteer notebook in the front office. It is provided here for convenience when there are no new forms in the notebook, for volunteers who do work offsite, and for those who cannot make it into the office on a regular basis. Forms should be turned in monthly as a monthly count of volunteer hours is done by our volunteer coordinator. And speaking of offsite hours - if you do any work for our school from your house such as baking for a teacher's luncheon, making costumes for a play or dance group, writing up minutes or serving as a treasurer, please be sure to count those hours, too.
