Greetings TLAM family!

This is Principal Williams. Open House is Tuesday, August 27th at 6pm. We will start in the auditorium with a brief presentation. After the presentation, you will be release to your child’s first period class where you will receive a copy of your child’s schedule to follow. Attending Open House will give you an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, receive an overview of the curriculum in each class, learn about teachers’ expectations for your child, and ask questions regarding your child’s academic success. School picture day is scheduled for Thursday, September 12th and our first early release day is Wednesday, September 25th. On early release days, students are dismissed an hour and forty-five minutes early which means students of Twin Lakes will be dismissed at 2:30pm. If your child is a car rider, please plan accordingly. Students need to be picked up no later than 2:45pm on early release days and 4:45pm on the non-early release days. If you need a different arrangement, please feel free to reach out to me at raya@duvalschools.org. There will be no school on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. As we transition to the third week of the first nine weeks, students are to come to school daily with their school planner, student ID, and a clear or mesh backpack. All cell phones are put away in their clear or mesh backpack or purse when they arrive on campus. No crocs or hoodies. This is a great time for you to update any information on your child’s FOCUS.
