    Greetings TLAM Family!

Just a gentle reminder, there is no school on Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Also, report cards were sent home and posted to FOCUS last Monday. Please check your parent account to review your child’s 2nd Quarter report card. If your child is in jeopardy of failing for the 2020-2021 school year, then you should have received a Mid-Year School Warning letter via email. If you have any questions regarding the letter, please reach out to the Guidance department for assistance. As you know the number of COVID-19 cases are increasing daily in our beautiful city. We have done a good job of maintaining a safe learning and teaching environment at Twin Lakes. If your child is exhibiting any signs of illness, please keep them home until you have a negative PCR test or a medical note. We must work together to ensure our learning and teaching environment remains safe. Please mark your calendar to note that we will have our annual Mid-Year Stakeholders meeting on Tuesday, February 23rd at 5:30pm. More details to come.

From the world of sports, winter sports will kick off this week. Girls soccer will play home on Tuesday, January 19th against Mandarin Middle at 5pm. Boys soccer will play away on Tuesday, January 19th against Mandarin Middle at 5pm at Mandarin. The boys will play home on Thursday, January 21st against Landon Middle at 5pm. If you have any questions regarding winter sports, please reach out to AD Story at

We will not have a PTSA/SAC meeting for the month of January. The deadline for the 2021-2022 High School Acceleration Program (AICE, IB, Early College, AP Capstone) application is due Thursday, January 21st at 11:59 pm. The application must be completed through your Parent Focus Portal account. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our school counselors for guidance or visit the district website and click on Departments then the High School Acceleration tab for more information. Here’s to an awesome week of growing and learning!
