    Greetings TLAM Family!

Just a gentle reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day. Students will return on Tuesday, June 1st at the regular scheduled time. The last day of school is Thursday, June 3rd with a dismissal time of 1pm. We will not have Extended Day, so all students must be picked up by 1pm. This week, we will be collecting laptops for all 8th grade students to include Duval HomeRoom students. They will receive their new laptops at their prospective high school next year. We will continue with FSA make up testing for all computer based assessments for all grade levels to include Civics. If your child has not completed their computer based FSA assessments, they need to be in school to complete this week. We have limited yearbooks for sale. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please see Mr. Curry in the counseling office with the payment of $25 in cash or by check. If your child is exhibiting any signs of illness or is awaiting the results of a COVID test, please do not send your child to school.

From the world of Duval HomeRoom, please note students must come on campus to take their grade level FSA/EOC state assessments. There is no exception to this rule as it is a state mandate. We are completing make up testing for all computer based assessments this week. Paper based assessments such as FSA Reading, FSA Math, Grade 8 Science have concluded. If your child need to make up any computer based assessments, please make sure your child is on campus this week at 9:15am. You will drop your child off in the bus loop (back of the school) and pick up your child in the car loop (front of the school) at 12pm. If the pick up time changes, AP Copeland or a member of his testing team will notify you of the new pick up time. Please make arrangements to drop off your child’s laptop if the student is transitioning to high school for the 2021-2022 school year.

From the world of sports, the End of the Year Sports Banquet will be on Tuesday, June 1st at 6pm in the auditorium. You will eat dinner in the cafeteria and then transition to the auditorium for the awards ceremony. We are so excited to celebrate and honor our student athletes. If you have any additional questions regarding the banquet, please reach out to AD Story at
