Mental Health Counseling

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary is proud to be a full-service school offering mental health counseling from our Full Service School Therapist, Ms. D. Lee.  Ms. Lee is a trained generalist and has experience treating a wide range of issues including:

    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Thought disorders
    • Mood disorders  
    Ms. Lee works with students using Solution Focused Therapy Techniques and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Techniques in individual and group counseling sessions.  Ms. Lee will also provide outreach services on campus and in the community.  Ms. Lee has received special training in mindfulness techniques and trauma aware classrooms.
