JLCP’s Extended Day Program 2022-2023

The Extended Day program is currently full.  Please contact Mrs. Slack via email to add your child to the waitlist. 

• Hours: afterschool until 5:30pm
  • Student pick up is located at the back of the school in the cafeteria
    • Please park in the faculty parking lot on Minerva Ave between 2:50 - 3:30 and 4:50 - 5:15 due to the bus loading zone being used for dismissal of school and sports.

• • • You will come in to sign your student out using your phone and a QR code
  • Walking forms are available for students to dismiss themselves between 5:15-5:30pm (no earlier).
    
    
• Pay: Roughly $100 a month (every 20 school days) à Tentative payment schedule located on the back
  • Payments will be made online using the Eleyo platform
    • You will need to create/log into your account here: https://duvalschools.reg.eleyo.com/
      
      
• Study Hall: Monday – Thursday: students will be encouraged to work on homework assignments until all homework is completed.
  • Students will need their own DCPS laptops/chargers
  • Students will have access to JLCP teachers for homework help (it is the student’s responsibility to ask for help when needed)
    
    
• “Fun Fridays”
  • Weather Permitting: Outside Play
  • Free time, Computer games, etc.
    
    
• Cellphones: students are discouraged and should not use their cell phones during Extended Day due to lack of regulation/supervision on personal devices.
  • Students have access to their DCPS computers where they can email parents/guardians or they can use the school phones to call for communication.
