Career and Technical Education Programs of Study
Programs of Study by design are a coherent sequence of rigorous academic and technical courses that prepare students for successful completion of state academic standards and support transition to more advanced post-secondary coursework in a related career area of interest. Programs of Study must include the locally endorsed sequence of core academic and Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. Each Program of Study is guided by the workforce and economic needs of business and industry in the community and employment opportunities for students.
The Division of Career and Adult Education publishes the curriculum frameworks aligned to the 17 Career Clusters delineated by the U.S. Department of Education. The Career Cluster frameworks pages also contain links to Community College AS/AAS and CCC frameworks.
