Reading Celebrations

Each quarter we celebrate the students that meet their reading goal. Each student is called onto the stage and is presented with a pin by the principal. The pin is placed onto a lanyard that follows them throughout their time at Greenland Pines.

Reading Goals

For Grades K-2
25 books each nine-weeks to meet the goal.

For grades 3-5, they must read:
1^st 9-wks – 5 or more books since the beginning of the year
2^nd 9-wks – 12 or more books since the beginning of the year
3^rd 9-wks – 19 or more books since the beginning of the year
4^th 9-wks – 25 or more books since the beginning of the year
