Duval County Public Schools Nutrition Program 2026 Scholarships

The Duval County Public Schools Nutrition Program, in partnership with Chartwells K12 and Thompson Hospitality, proudly provides food service management and serves nutritious, enjoyable meals to students in school cafeterias across the district.

As part of our commitment to giving back to the students we serve, the DCPS Nutrition Program is honored to award ten one-time $5,000 scholarships to high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education. In addition, Thompson Hospitality is generously providing three meal plan scholarships for students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

To qualify, students were asked to submit essays focused on promoting healthy eating habits, increasing participation in cafeteria programs, and sharing their future goals and aspirations. For 2026, there were more than 60 applications received. While every submission deserved recognition, we are proud to announce the students selected as this year’s scholarship recipients.
