Commanding Officer:

On September 2022, the Duval School Police (DCSP) founded the DCSP Honor Guard.  The Honor Guard is comprised of officers throughout the Department who volunteer a significant amount of time to provide the following services, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating funeral honor guard duties/details for DCSP personnel and their immediate families.

  • Serving as Department liaisons with DCSP personnel in the event of a death in the immediate family.

  • Representing the DCSP during formal functions and public ceremonies (i.e., openings of new schools, swearing-in of Board Members, etc.).

  • Coordinating honor guard duties with outside agencies/organizations.

  • Representing the DCSP at state Police Memorials.

These dedicated men and women are committed to service and not only represent the DCSP, but they provide critical services in times of need to the DCSP family, and provide service to the Duval County School District, the greater law enforcement community, and the community in which they serve.
