The Office of Equity and Inclusion/Professional Standards (OEI/OPS) reviews requests for reasonable accommodations under the ADAAA (Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act). A person with a disability may submit an application to the OEI/OPS.  A site visit will be scheduled after the documents are reviewed in order to speak with the applicant and her/his supervisor. A determination will be made thereafter as to the appropriate accommodation available, taking into account the district’s resources. Accommodations are granted for a period of one year only. Applicants must renew their application annually.
