Are you ready to join us in preparing future leaders?  Well, DCPS is launching a new program for candidates interested in becoming a paraprofessional with our school district.  The Parapro Assessment Prep Program is designed for candidates who are interested in becoming paraprofessional but do not have 60 college credits.  This program will prepare you to take and pass the Parapro Assessment.  Candidates who are accepted into the program and who complete the course will have their assessment fee ($55.00) waived.  Participants who pass their exam will be offered a position as a paraprofessional.

There will be three cohorts during the months of January – May.Our spring cohorts are as follows:

January 2023

• Orientation – 1/5
• Cohort Dates - 1/10, 1/17 & 1/24

February 2023

• Orientation – 2/2
• Cohort Dates - 2/7, 2/14 & 2/21

April 2023

• Orientation – 4/6
• Cohort Dates - 4/11, 4/18 & 4/25
