The Duval County Public Schools Sales Surtax Oversight Committee will meet for their regularly scheduled meeting on November 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Some Committee Members may participate via interactive video and/or telephone systems. The meeting will be held at the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership, located at 4019 Boulevard Center Drive, Gentry Room A, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Members of the Duval County School Board may also be in attendance.

 

Following the meeting, at 3:00 p.m., the Sales Surtax Oversight Committee will hold an orientation for new Committee Members.

 

The purpose is to discuss the following topic(s):

 

• WELCOME & ROLL CALL
• INTRODUCTION OF NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS
• APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 17, 2021, AGENDA
• PUBLIC COMMENTS
• APPROVAL OF MINUTES – SEPTEMBER 15, 2021
• OPERATIONAL AND FINANCE UPDATE
• CHARTERSCHOOL SECOND QUARTER REPORTS
• CHARTER SCHOOL REVIEW PROCESS
• NEXT MEETING
• ORIENTATION FOR NEW MEMBERS (3:00 – 4:00 PM)

 

Any person who anticipates an appeal of a decision made by the Committee with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, or who may decide to appeal such decision, will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made. This record will need to include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
