Tuesday, September 27th… Patriotic Pride in red, white, and blue; 3rd-5th Grade Emergency Active Shooter Safety Video assembly 

Wednesday, September 28th… Hats off to Freedom- wear your favorite hat; Kindergarten Field Trip; Early Dismissal will begin @ 1:35

Thursday, September 29th… Stars and Stripes- dress in shiny, silver, stars, or striped clothing; SAC Meeting @ 4:00 in the Media Center

Friday, September 30th… Remember those who serve in our Armed Forces- wear red to show support for deployed military members; PTA Hosted Spirit Night @ Town Center Blaze Pizza 5:00-9:00 & Hispanic Heritage Family Movie Night featuring Encanto @ 5:45 in the Abess Park café’- grab your pizza and join us for a movie!

Important Information…

New Worlds Reading Initiative: This initiative will deliver a free, grade-level appropriate book to qualifying students through the mail each month until the end of fifth grade. The high-interest books arrive with tips for family members to support their student’s reading at home. Parents or caregivers simply go to https://www.newworldsreading.com/fl/en/home.html to enroll their student and start receiving your books! Step Up for Students Reading Scholarships: This program offers parents/guardians access to education savings accounts, worth $500 each, to pay for tuition and fees related to part-time tutoring, summer and after-school literacy programs, instructional materials (including desktop/laptop computers and tablets and curriculum related to reading or literacy. Parents and caregivers can register now to be on the “interest list” and be notified when the site opens to begin receiving applications.
