Aug. 9, 2023 -  During its meeting today with search consultants, the Duval County School Board approved a final superintendent search timeline.

It includes several community forums which will be held throughout Jacksonville. The first two forums are on Aug. 22 at Baldwin Middle/High and at Westside High.

July 12, 2023

Aug. 9, 2023

• Board Workshop(s)/Meeting(s) - Complete Pre-search interview (Board/Superintendent section) - Finalize on-line public survey - Review Timeline & advertisement venues - Discussion pertaining to superintendent’s job description and ensure compliance with policies related to hiring and evaluation as applicable - Confirm press and social media release(s) pertaining to community forums, on-line survey period, and Superintendent Search website portal - Other items as needed.
