Good job by the girls weightlifting team against Mandarin and Ed White. Congratulations to Bryna Murray for her ferocious lifting and taking first place in the Olympic division for her weight class. Way to go. Congratulations to Kiele Rife for her explosiveness and taking first place in the Olympic and Traditional divisions for her weight class. Well done. Cheer on the Girls Weightlifting team as they take on Westside next week.
A huge congratulations to both of the JROTC's Leadership and Academic Bowl team members who advanced to Level 2 of the competition!!! Winning Level 2 in February 2024 will qualify each team to compete at Nationals, which is held at "The Catholic University of America" in Washington D.C. Best of luck to each team as they prepare to compete after the holidays!
If you were unable to attend the spring musical informational meeting, but you'd like to audition or have questions, be sure to stop by room 58 and talk to Ms. Holley. Also, if you plan to attend auditions next Tuesday, December 12th, be sure to drop off your permission slip by Monday. YOU MUST HAVE A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP IN ORDER TO STAY FOR AUDITIONS. Finally, Drama Club members, be sure to stop by room 58 to pick up your T Shirt if you haven't gotten it already.
Any students, organizations, or teachers interested in participating in the Black History Program in February 2024 please contact Ms. DeVoe or Mr. Rollerson on or before the Winter break (December 21, 2023). State what your act or talent will be. There will be a sign-up sheet on the BSU bulletin board (outside Room 4) for those individuals who are interested in participating in the program.
BASKETBALL BONANZA!!!!!!!!!! Show your Wolfpack pride the week December 11th - 15th by celebrating Basketball Bonanza week. Monday is jersey day, Tuesday is anything but a backpack day, Wednesday is twin day and the dodgeball tournament, Thursday is pajama day and Friday is ugly sweater day ending with a Pep Rally!
ITS TIMEEEEEEE!!! join us for the Wolfson Chorus Holiday Concert on Friday, December 15th at 7:00pm. It's going to be a fantastic evening filled with traditional Christmas music, but with a unique twist! Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased on Go Fan by scanning the scanning the QR codes on the concert posters in the hallway.
Are you ready for DODGEBALL!?!? The annual dodgeball tournament is coming up soon-- Wednesday 12/13 from 1:30 - 3 in the gym. $20 per team to register, free to come and watch. You must turn in your registration packet and submit payment by 12/11. All proceeds go to the Wolfson Water Project. See Ms. Fess or Ms. Benga for details.
