Upcoming Black History Month In-School Activities
Tuesday, 2/16 – Friday, 2/19: African American Video Series in the media center. Teachers are invited to bring their students during class. In addition, students my visit the exhibits during their scheduled lunch. Exhibit will remain up for the entire month of February.
Wednesday, 2/17 – Black History Celebration - Chorus Celebration During 1st Lunch 10:48 A.M. and 2nd Lunch 11: 50 A.M. This celebration will include: A Taste of Black History (Sandalwood Culinary Dept.), Welcome (Saints 3), Humanity His Cause Poem (Jara Enoch), Video Presentation, Lift Every Voice (Sandalwood Chorus) and Siyahamba (Sandalwood Chorus). Location: Auditorium
Friday, 2/19 – Soulful Sounds of Black History - Musical Performance During 1st Lunch 10:48 A.M. and 2nd Lunch 11: 50 A.M. Welcome (Sean Presley), Spoken Word (Harlon Brown, Jr.) Then There was Dance (Kari McDaniel), Jet Pack 7-Figures. Location: Auditorium
