All gold key pieces will be on display in the Maker Space Gallery located at the Jacksonville Public Library, downtown branch across from James Weldon Johnson Park (formerly Hemming Park) from February 13th until March 13th. Gallery hours are from 10-6, Monday through Friday.

Scholastics is one of the oldest running art contests in the country and student artists go on to receive tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship money every year. It is only open to students ages 13-18 and there is no separation between ages nor the fact that some students attend arts magnet schools versus average schools. The fact that our JWJ artists receive awards is HUGE as they are up against seniors from Douglas Anderson as well as hundreds of other crazy talented teenagers from across North East Florida.

Their work will now move onto the state level.
