The District and Stakeholder Textbook Adoption Review Committee for Science will convene for review and recommendations for the adoption of instructional materials. The Review committee will meet on November 7, 2023, through November 13, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   The meeting will be held at the A. Philip Randolph STEM Center located at 1157 Golfair Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32209.

 

 The purpose is to discuss the following topic(s): 

 

• Each review committee is to review state proposed materials for determination of recommendation of instructional materials to be adopted for K-12 Science courses beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. 

 

 

Any person who anticipates an appeal of a decision made by the Review Committee for Social Studies with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, or who may decide to appeal such decision, will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.  This record will need to include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
