Dear DCPS Title I Elementary School Family,

We are excited to announce a special literacy opportunity! Each Title I Elementary School student is eligible to pick 3 FREE BOOKS from the READ USA virtual book marketplace to be mailed directly to your home! We hope you enjoy reading together over the summer, as “Readers are Leaders!”
Please take the following steps to confirm each student’s FREE book choices. Books will be mailed in 1-3 weeks’ time, to enjoy for summer reading and to add to your home library.
Please note: If you have more than one child attending a Title I elementary school, each child will need to complete a separate order. Please do not let your child checkout with a cart of more than 3 books, as only three books will be mailed.
Accessing the Online READ USA Book Marketplace
1) Parents/students, please go to www.readusainc.com/books
2) Type in password: 3books
3) Students, select “view more” below the sample titles (make sure to pick a book you think you’d enjoy)!
4) Toggle between the English and Spanish titles on the left
5) Please select a title and click “add to cart”
6) Once you have selected 3 books, select the cart to proceed to checkout
7) Parents, provide an email and mailing address for the order
8) For “Billing Address”, please provide the mailing address to receive the books
(Again there is NO COST for you to participate; please disregard the word “billing”)
9) Once you complete all fields, you will receive an email confirmation with your order
