Thank you for making week 4 a great experience for our Trojans. Below is a link that will allow us to collect feedback on the Open House experience. It was for us a new format that was birthed from parent and stakeholder feedback. It is imperative that you provide your thoughts and opinions as this is information we will use moving forward. Our goal is to make the Open House experience meaningful for the parents. Thank you for completing the survey. The survey will be open from Friday, September 12 through Friday, September 19 at 12pm.
Congratulations Jacob Hague – 8th Grader who has been selected a “Real School” host for the 2014-2015 school year. “Real School” is an award-winning, 30-minute news-style program that airs locally, and will feature your students as news anchors and reporters. “Real School” focuses entirely on the positive things going in Duval County Public Schools, and each student will be presenting these stories to our community.
This e-mail is to inform you that the District now has requested that all middle school students who are enrolled in a high school level course complete and sign a form to be turned in to their course teacher. I will be handing these forms out tomorrow and Monday in class. If you could fill out the form and sign it as soon as possible the school and District would greatly appreciate it.
Now, I'm sure none of our students will lose this form between when we give it to them and by the time they return home, but if by chance that does happen you can download the form from my website www.schoolrack.com/mrpeterson/files/ and the file name is "High School Course Release Form"
Finally, if your students is enrolled in multiple high school level course you will need to fill out a form for each separate course.
Welcome to James Weldon Johnson - Duval County’s original college preparatory middle school.
