Three students stand together in a science classroom and work on a project

May 11, 2026 – Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, standard high school hours will shift slightly to 7:10 a.m. – 2:05 p.m. This is a small adjustment from the current standard bell times for high schools: 7:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

The adjustment was approved by the School Board during its regular meeting this month and reflects stakeholder feedback gathered as the district works to comply with recent state law.

Exceptions
As is the case each year, some schools will have exceptions, as not all schools follow standard bell times. The highlighted schools below will follow different hours than the standard schedule.

Schedule for Elementary and Middle Schools
There are no changes to standard bell hours for elementary schools (8:30 a.m.  – 3 p.m.) or middle schools (9:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.) next school year.

However, some elementary or middle schools with exceptional hours may have schedule updates. Those decisions will be finalized and posted in June.
