Aug. 19, 2026 – The rankings are out, and it’s official – Team Duval is home to some of the best high schools in Florida and the nation!
The results come from U.S. News & World Report’s latest rankings of the Best High Schools in the U.S. The publication reviewed data on more than 27,000 public high schools across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were evaluated based on criteria including college readiness, state assessment performance, graduation rate, and more.
The following Team Duval high schools ranked among the top 50 in Florida:
Stanton College Preparatory – No. 7 in Florida
Paxon School for Advanced Studies – No. 25 in Florida
Samuel Wolfson School for Advanced Studies – No. 26 in Florida
Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts – No. 30 in Florida
Douglas Anderson School of the Arts – No. 36 in Florida
Additionally, Stanton ranked No. 63 in the nation. Paxon and Wolfson also ranked among the top 250 schools in the nation, at No. 244 and No. 248, respectively.
