Nov. 5, 2026 - Excitement filled the Mandarin High School Auditorium as football standout and Mandarin High School student Brysen Wright publicly shared his college choice during a well-attended ceremony. Family, teammates, coaches, and supporters gathered to hear his decision and congratulate the football star.

"I appreciate all my coaches that coached me through every step, every team" Brysen said. "I just want to tell you all that I'm going to Miami."

His commitment to the University of Miami marked an exciting milestone in his athletic journey and the start of a new chapter as he sets his sights on college football. The Jacksonville native was awarded the NFL Flag Player of the Year for 2025 and is ranked by USA Today as the No. 1 high school football prospect in the nation.
