Under Construction - Scheduled to Open August 2025
Jean Ribault High School will be receiving a brand-new school facility anticipated to be completed in August 2025. Construction for the new Jean Ribault High School is expected to begin in the summer of 2023.
Southside Estates Elementary School will be receiving a new facility scheduled to be completed in August 2025. It is consolidating with Windy Hill Elementary into one school.
Completed Schools
The new Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary School was completed August 2023. Students were welcomed to the new campus on August 14, 2023.
Highlands Elementary School was completed in August 2024. The new school consolidated Pine Estates Elementary and Highlands elementary schools.
Jacksonville's Westside received a new 6-8 middle school. The brand-new Chaffee Trail Middle opened in August 2024.
