New School Projects
Duval County voters overwhelmingly approved funding in 2020 for a school renovation and rebuilding program that is improving schools and learning environments throughout the district. Each project is unique to its community's needs as the district works to enhance the student learning experience with modern, 21st century school facilities.
Below are links to information about new school projects being launched across the district. New school projects can involve mergers of smaller schools into more efficient buildings, new school boundaries, and temporary school assignments while new schools are under construction. The district discusses these topics with school stakeholders to receive feedback and input, finalize transition plans, and ensure interested community members are informed and engaged.
