ESE Parent Survey
Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well your child’s school is partnering with you and promoting your involvement in your child’s education. All states must collect these data as part of their State Performance Plan, as required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
The survey can be completed on the web or mobile phone by visiting by clicking on the one of the following links:
The survey is open to all parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) receiving ESE services from preschool through grade 12. It is not intended for parents of students receiving only gifted services through an educational plan. Students with disabilities aged 18 or older may complete this survey. The survey features straightforward questions and takes less time to complete, making it easier for parents to participate. District- and school-level results will be available at the close of the survey window in June 2025. The survey can be completed online at 2025 ESE Parent Survey
Your feedback is important in helping the state and local school systems continue improving educational programs for children with special needs. Thank you!
