The 2026–2027 School Choice Application Window Opens on Monday, December 1, 2025!
Duval County Public Schools adopted a Controlled Open Enrollment Plan that allows parents from any school district within the state to enroll his or her child into any public school that has seat availability.
Out-of-county applicants may submit up to two (2) magnet program selections and one (1) special transfer option choice. These applications are processed in the date and order received after all applications from Duval County residents have been reviewed.
Please note priorities and preferences do not apply for out-of-county students, and placement is not guaranteed.
