SUBJ: 2023-2024 No Lunch Money Procedure

The district had instituted a procedure that allowed students in grades Pre-K to 12 to run a maximum negative balance equivalent to one paid lunch ($1.95 elementary; $2.50 secondary). These balances were incurred in prior school years to 2023-2024.
All Duval County Public School Students
Students cannot be denied a meal if they have a negative balance.
A copy of this policy is posted on the Food Service website, and a written copy is available upon request.
Grades PreK-5
No students will be allowed to charge ala carte items.
Miscellaneous
The manager can run a negative balance letter from WebSMARTT if requested by a parent.
