Any student aged 16 or 17 who is currently enrolled in a Duval County Public School must be referred to the Graduation Rate Initiatives Team (GRIT) for counseling and processing. Students who are actively enrolled in Duval County Public Schools should initiate the withdrawal process with their school. All other students (Home Education, private, or transfer student) are to contact the Dropout Prevention office to initiate the process.
