The SPARK program is currently taking referrals for enrollment of our next class! SPARK is a teen mentoring program that helps youth recognize their full potential and guides them to listen to their gut instincts when it comes to challenging situations. Youth are faced with peer pressure situations every day and they often ignore their “SPARK”, thus, leading to negative outcomes. Our classes focus on better communication, different perspectives, healthy relationships, future goals and dreams, while reducing risk taking behaviors. The classes are fun and we offer incentives for those who participate in our classes. SPARK is open to adolescents, ages 11–17, in Duval County. In collaboration with Family & Youth Services Bureau, the University of South Florida, Cypress Initiative, SPARK works to strengthen teens’ potential towards future success.
