Jan. 23, 2025 – New boundaries are being considered for multiple middle schools on the Westside, and stakeholders are invited to provide input into this important conversation beginning next Monday, Jan. 27.
The boundary change discussion involves the following middle schools: Chaffee Trail Middle, Westside Middle, Westview K-8, Baldwin Middle-Senior, and Lakeshore Middle School.
This discussion stems from the district’s effort to alleviate overcrowding at Chafee Trail Middle.
Families and the community are invited to attend Monday’s conversation. The evening will comprise two meetings: A community meeting followed by what’s known as an Academic and Community Excellence (ACE) meeting.
The ACE process is where a working group of engaged stakeholders is formed to review the data, history, and facts related to a topic or proposal in order to develop recommendations for the superintendent.
