Creating History

We are a neighborhood school nestled in a country setting off U.S. 1 in Jacksonville. Samuel A. Hull, former president of the Florida NAACP, donated the beautiful land where the school was built. Mr. Hull lived to the age of 107 and because of this great civic activist, we enjoy a spacious campus. We have areas dedicated to art, music, student services, and physical education. At S.A. Hull, we continue to evaluate and explore ways to improve our programs to meet the needs of all of our students.

Achievement, Career Readiness, Equity in Education, Community Engagement

We focus on four main goals and initiatives. 1. Academic Achievement: Aim to improve student performance on standardized assessments and overall academic growth. 2. College and Career Readiness: Preparing students for postsecondary education or the workforce through relevant coursework and experiential learning. 3. Equity in Education: Striving to close achievement gaps among different student demographics and providing equal opportunities. 4. Community Engagement: Building partnerships with parents and families.

Home Away From Home

We have a small school setting, and the staff feels like family! The administration is very easy to talk to, and the teachers always strive to do what’s best for kids.

Lifelong Friendships

The classes are fun, and the teachers are nice. The students make friends easily and are celebrated schoolwide for their success.
