Atlantic Coast High School is a 1:1 school for laptops, ensuring that every student has access to a device for their academic success.

• Laptop Checkout: Students are assigned a laptop within two school days of enrollment. However, students who have an outstanding device checked out from another DCPS school must resolve the issue with their previous school before receiving a laptop from Atlantic Coast.

• Laptop Repairs & Loaners:

  • Students can turn in laptops that need to be repaired to the Media Center at any time.

  • If a student turns in a laptop for repair due to a broken screen, they will be issued one loaner laptop.

  • If the loaner laptop is also returned with a broken screen, the student will not receive another device and will be required to complete alternative assignments for classwork.

For our student, the manner in which students can log onto the Oneview, FOCUS, and their student-issued laptops: 

Students will use the 8-digit number that is listed ontheir student ID and precede it with the lower case "s"           

Example:  s########

The password is 8 characters long using the following information -  

Capital first letter of  first name              Example:  Donna = D

Two digits for day of birth                      Example:  July 4th = 04 

Lower case first letter of last name          Example:  Mathis = m

Last four digits of student social security number  

So to log on, a student would use the above information in the following manner:
