Greetings from the Assistant Principal!

I am a proud native of Jacksonville, Florida and a product of Duval County Public Schools. I graduated from Edward Waters University, the first Historically Black College in the state of Florida, earning my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I later continued my academic journey by completing a Master’s in Curriculum, Instruction, and Reading, followed by a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
My educational philosophy is simple yet powerful: all students can learn. One of my guiding beliefs is captured in the timeless saying, “It takes a village to raise a child.” My life verse, Matthew 6:25–34, continues to ground and inspire my work each day.
With this foundation, I am honored to continue serving as the Assistant Principal at Bridge to Success Academy Middle @ St. Clair Evans. As we step into 2026, I remain committed to uplifting our scholars, partnering with families, and helping our community thrive in every way.
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
