PE Helpers
The PE Helpers of Chimney Lakes Elementary are sponsored by our physical education teachers.
The group is made up of 5th grade students. At the beginning of the year, students apply to become a PE Helper by writing a letter stating why they want to be a PE Helper and why they feel that they would make a good one.
The letter/application must be signed by both the student’s teacher and a parent.
PE Helpers meet with in the multi-purpose room before school starts every day and have various jobs. These jobs include helping to set up equipment for the day’s classes, crushing cans to prepare them to go to the recycling center, preparing Campbell’s UPC codes for submission, delivering Recycle Bucks, being a clerk in the Recycling store and helping with Play Day.
