Achievers For Life is an academic assistance program funded by the United Way of Northeast Florida and Kids Hope Alliance (KHA) in partnership with Communities In Schools of Jacksonville (CIS), The LJD Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS) and Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) designed to provide student support in achieving academic success through academic progress monitoring, improved student attendance, promoting positive behavior and parent engagement. The Achievers For Life (AFL) staff is dedicated to helping students stay engaged and develop positive skills and behaviors during their middle school years. AFL services can include academic support, social support and direct communication with students and families.
