Information sent from the counseling office for the 2026-2027 school year. This email was sent 04-20-2026
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As part of our efforts to prepare students for postsecondary opportunities, all high school students will complete the Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Dual Enrollment application.
This is a district-wide process intended to ensure that every student is informed and prepared should they choose to pursue dual enrollment courses, either on campus or at Douglas Anderson, at any point during their high school career. Completing the application does not obligate students to participate in dual enrollment. It simply keeps this option available to them.
We believe this proactive step helps students and families make informed decisions about academic opportunities both now and in the future. You will receive an email from FSCJ to review documents and sign electronically.
If you have any questions about dual enrollment or the application process, please feel free to contact your student's school counselor.
Thank you,
The School Counseling Team
