Mu Alpha Theta is the United States Mathematics Honor society for high school students. The Douglas Anderson chapter unites students' passion for the arts with their love for mathematics. The society participates in numerous math competitions around north-east Florida, to spark students' curiosity in the world of mathematics outside of the classroom.
Mu Alpha Theta’s goals are to inspire interest and promote the enjoyment of mathematics in high school students, by means of active tutoring assistance for those who may struggle.
This society is one of prestige that fosters strong new mathematicians through exciting new challenges and school service.
