The World Language Department at Douglas Anderson offers Spanish and German. Emphasis is placed on the performance standards of reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Linguistic specifications reflect the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. Students are encouraged to create with and think in the target language.
Teachers have traveled throughout Europe, the Middle East, Central America, South America, and Asia. They are enthusiastic, well-rounded, and vibrant educators dedicated to encouraging their students to explore other cultures.
