Information for VPK Registration

The VPK late application steps are as follows:

• Obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from the Early Learning Coalition on or after January 1, 2024.  Visit this website to apply for a school-year certificate.

• Create a Student ID and a FOCUS account for your child. The link to create the number and/or a FOCUS account is Enrollment.  Write down the student number.  If your child has been screened by Child Find, attended Head Start at a DCPS site, or was previously enrolled, your child has a student number.
