
Our Business Marketing Academy program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship. With a focus on sports, recreation, and entertainment industries, students gain real-world business experience through both classroom instruction and practical application.
Who can take Business Marketing classes?
Any student at Englewood High School may enroll in a business marketing class. Priority is given to academy students. Most students begin in their freshman or sophomore year and progress through multiple levels of coursework, culminating in advanced marketing and internship opportunities.
This program is ideal for students interested in business, event planning, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Whether they’re looking to enter the workforce, earn college credit, or develop a business plan, students will graduate with marketable skills and a clear post-secondary path.
The Business Marketing Academy
Englewood High School is proud to offer a specialized Business Marketing Academy. Students enrolled in the academy follow a focused pathway with a cohort of peers, gaining access to preferred courses, a dedicated school counselor, and exclusive career-building opportunities such as local internships, competitions, and event planning roles.
Scholarships and Postsecondary Credit
Students may earn industry certifications and dual enrollment credit that align with Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship opportunities.
