Welcome to Extended Day! Greenland Pines Elementary School is proud to offer Extended Day care services for students enrolled in our school. We offer both morning and afternoon care following the DCPS academic calendar.  

• Morning Care Hours: 7:00 am to 8:00 am

• Afternoon Care Hours: Dismissal to 6:00 pm (PM care provided on early release days)

Registration for the 2023-24 School Year Opens Mid-July! To apply for Before and/or After School Extended Day

*Once our staff receives your application, you will be notified via email. Students must be enrolled at Greenland Pines Elementary and only children of working parents may be provided services in the program. Children cannot be absent from school and attend Extended Day. Services are provided on a monthly basis due to the eligibility of space in each class/session. THis program does not provide weekly or drop-in services. Students are enrolled as long as there is space available.  Once all spots are filled, students can be placed on the waiting list.
