Greenland Pines Elementary School's Military Transition Program is designed to support students from military families as they adjust to new environments. One of the program’s key initiatives is the Buddy System, where each new student is paired with a classroom buddy. This buddy not only helps ease the transition by providing guidance and support but also fosters friendships that help create a sense of belonging. Through shared activities, collaborative learning, and regular check-ins, the program ensures that newcomers feel welcomed and connected, making their integration into the school community smoother and more enjoyable.
