Welcome to Julia Landon College Preparatory & Leadership Development Middle School!

We are honored to support the many military-connected students and families who call Jacksonville home. Whether your family is arriving from another state, another country, or another Duval County school, our goal is to make your transition to Julia Landon as smooth and welcoming as possible.

At Julia Landon, we understand that military families often experience unique transitions. Our staff is committed to helping students quickly feel connected, supported, and prepared for success both inside and outside the classroom. From academics and extracurricular activities to navigating a new school environment, we are here to help every step of the way.

Enrollment Information

Families who are new to Duval County Public Schools must first complete the district's online enrollment process through the Parent and Student FOCUS system.

Once the district enrollment process has been started, we encourage military families to contact Julia Landon directly. Our team can answer questions, provide school-specific information, and assist with a successful transition into our school community.

Transition Support

Starting at a new school can be overwhelming, especially during a military relocation. To help students and families feel comfortable and informed, Julia Landon offers personalized transition support, including:

• Assistance with the registration process

• School tours and campus orientation opportunities

• Information about academic programs and course offerings

• Guidance on clubs, athletics, and extracurricular activities

• Connections to school-based support services and resources
