Character Parade
Love Grove students, faculty & staff recognized Red Ribbon Week from Friday, October 25th to Thursday, October 31st. On Friday, we were "Teaming Up Against Drugs" and wore our favorite sports/team attire to demonstrate our committment. Monday we wore RED to show, "I'm Proud to be Drug Free". Tuesday's theme was, "Sock It to Drugs", and we wore our crazy socks to school. On Wednesday, we wore our silly caps to show that we were, "Putting a Cap on Drugs". We ended our Red Ribbon Week on Thursday by having our annual character parade, "I'd Rather Read than do Drugs". It was a fun time and perfect weather for a parade!
Holiday Extravaganza
We had a wonderful time celebrating the winter holiday with friends and family, on the evening of Thursday, December 21st. Our Love Grove choir sang several holiday songs to set the festive mood, followed by a gathering of Love Grove students singing Feliz Navidad. To top the evening, crafts were made, hot chocolate was served and pictures were taken with Santa & Mrs. Claus.
