Principal

As a graduate of Florida State University and Jacksonville University. I transitioned into teaching following a career as an Education Specialist for TRICARE, supporting Military families in Northeast Florida and Georgia. My initial assignment as an educator, which ignited my passion for teaching, began in room 512 here on the second floor of Landmark Middle as an eighth-grade Science teacher. During my time as an educator in Duval County, I have worked as an Exceptional Education Administrator for both elementary and secondary schools as well as in the Office of School Improvement as a Data Analyst. I served as a teacher/administrator for five of the past Landmark Middle Principals. As a former DCPS parent, and Dade/Duval County Public school student, I am honored to lead a public neighborhood school with a dedicated Assistant Principal team and a nurturing staff who are committed to partnering with families to support students as they find their purpose through academically rigorous and enriching learning experiences.
