Mandarin Oaks has a University of Florida certified 4H program. Our program is centered around animal compassion and husbandry. The club is open to Kindergarten to fifth grade.  We have a limited amount of spots available.  The opening date for applications will be announced on the morning news. The club meets monthly throughout the year in the afternoons after school.  The club is free at our school but does require an annual paid membership to Duval 4H UF extension office. The students get to raise chickens, goats, pigs , quail , rabbits etc. Every year we take a field trip. We have monthly speakers come and explain possible exciting careers in animal welfare. This club is very popular at the school because of the furry friends and fun experiences.  This club is hosted by Ms. MacReynolds (aka Miss Mac and Cheese ) and Ms. Dubisky.
