Our Visual Arts program is designed to develop skills required to learn and apply the elements and principles of art. Students actively create and explore using a variety of materials. They draw, paint, cut, glue, and build with things to make original artwork. 

Lessons often focus on specific skills, such as mixing colors, creating patterns, or learning how to show depth and texture, while still giving students freedom to express their own ideas. They may work on themed projects, experiment with different techniques, and occasionally collaborate with classmates. 

Students also look at and talk about art, learning how to describe what they see and share their thoughts. Throughout the process, they practice creativity, focus, and problem-solving in a fun, hands-on environment.
